2010 - Cruising the Chesapeake It is May - actually a rather bad may weather-wise. So we decided on a sailing trip to the Chesapeak in the hope to find warmer temperatures, meet up with Dietmar and Mary Lou, and Tom and Cathie who we had met in Charleston, SC, in 2006, when we were on our return trip from the Bahamas - remember those days??? We decided on a maximum four week trip because, not long thereafter, we will have to hop on a plane to Croatia to join Guenter, Waltraut and family for a family "reunion" (though it will be ex the other US contingent). Those reports and photos you will find under Family and Friends (once we have started to write about it). Here first our travel log of the trip to the Chesapeake.
