The Town of New Plymouth virtually covered by the Eruptions of Mount Soufriere in 1995 andn 1998 - very few people perished due to earlier activity that indicated an Eruption - still, the branc-new Hospital and the Rest of the Town unusable for ever due to continued volcanic Activity (the latest Eruption occurred February this year)
We had visited this Spot in 2008, together with Dietmar who we had rendezvous-ed at the time
